Theater Lüneburg GmbH
Under the direction of the director Hajo Fouquet the Große Haus, the Treffpunkt Neues Theater and the Junge Bühne exert themselves to offer their audience theatre experiences - established, experimental and surprising theatre is being conjured by actors, singers, dancers and the team behind the background onto the stage.
The Große Haus offers space for 546 people and was in its original function a cinema before it was redeveloped into a theatre in 1946. On the 29. September of the same year the opening was celebrated.
The Studio T.NT (Treffpunkt. Neues Theater) has 99 seats and is the room where different theatre is made.
On the 20. October 2009 the Junge Theater T.3 opened its gates and has been visited by 13862 children and teenagers until the 30.6.2010. The programme is diverse and due to its modern architecture many unusual plays can be performed.
Whether the 'Blues Brothers' with well over 70 participants or 'Moby Dick' with two actors: the room is suitable for all.

At the musical theatre you experience 'Orpheus & Eurydice' 'Don Giovanni' and 'Tosca' but also 'Hansel and Gretel' and even get sportive guidance at 'bums - tums - legs'.
The play 'Mr. Pilk's Madhouse' will make you laugh, you'll grieve with 'Anne Frank's Diary' and you can experience the highs and lows of the large family 'Buddenbrooks'.
But you can also enjoy great ballets at the Theatre Lüneburg, experience a Tango night as well as visit the Literature Cafe.
In addition you can also look forward to diverse guest performances e.g. the Ohnsorg Theater from Hamburg and let yourself be swept away by the beat of 50ties Rock n Roll Show BUDDY in concert.
